Calling Time on Off-roading - new publication from GLEAM (Green Lanes Environmemntal Movement)

Attached for information is a pdf of Calling Time on Off-roading, a new publication from GLEAM.

Calling Time details, and illustrates with photographs, the public nuisance and environmental damage being done by off-road 4x4s and motorbikes. It explains why current legislation is unable to deal with the impacts of off-roading on the 7,000 miles of green lanes in England and Wales and says that the only effective solution is new legislation to bring all off-roading to an end.

Calling Time is the first time GLEAM has set out its stall in a publication of this kind. We are distributing it very widely. We are sending it to members of key parliamentary committees, to environment ministers and shadow ministers, to highway and national park authorities, to AONBs and the national trails, and to decision makers in organisations active in rights of way and/or environmental issues.
